Flag Day

235 years ago today, the Second Continental Congress passed a resolution adopting the Stars and Stripes as the flag of our country.  Today, we know June 14 simply as Flag Day.

If you do not already have your flag out, take a minute to put it out for the day.  And really, why not have it out every day.  As long as you have proper lighting and an all-weather flag, you can leave that beauty up 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our flag is a special symbol of our country.  No flag comes close to the majesty that is our flag.

Be proud to fly our flag today and every day.  Proudly flying our flag is one of the few non-partisan things that can happen in this country.  Mine is out today.  Is yours?

**Today is also the birthday of the United States Army.  Celebrating 237 years today!**
