Ann Coulter Is At It Again

Maybe she just cannot help herself.  Maybe it is a symptom of diminished brain functioning.  Whatever the cause or reason, it seems that Ann Coulter just cannot seem to stop using the word “retard” or variations of the word, when describing President Obama or his supporters.  Ann, stop, you need help.  Her most recent diatribe, from this past Tuesday (see below) marks at least three occasions in about two weeks that this public figure has attempted to reach a new low.  Here is some of the responses generated because of her hatred:

Expanded Vocabulary
At It Again (the first time)
Does It Make You Feel Better?
I Just Had To Share (includes a letter from John Franklin Stephens, Special Olympian)
Seriously, Ann Coulter, Seriously? (contains links to over 40 additional posts and is a good read)

And here is her most recent spewing:

Ann Coulter
(@AnnCoulter) tweeted at 1:31 PM on Tue, Oct 23, 2012:

Obama: “Stage 3 Romneysia” – because cancer references are HILARIOUS.
If he’s “the smartest guy in the room” it must be one retarded room.

Now, maybe Ann is a little disturbed by President Obama referring to the constant flip-flopping of Mitt Romney as “Romneysia.”  I will admit that I find it both funny and a little childish, but I also do not confuse the different “stages” of “Romneysia” with references to cancer.  While amnesia may not have numbered stages similar to the ones the President references for “Romneysia,” for anyone to confuse the stages with cancer is a stretch.  At best.

But then again, we are talking about Ann Coulter here, and she basically knows one way to make her point, and that is to be as extreme as possible.  At this point, I have given up hope that Ann Coulter has anything close to compassion in her heart.  She represents a vast segment of our population, too vast of a segment in my opinion, who feel that they can denigrate people by calling them “retards.”
